We are a community makerspace located in California's great Central Valley. Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, Fresno Ideaworks offers a space for people to learn, create and share.
At Fresno Ideaworks we foster a community of makers: tinkerers, technologists, artists, hobbyists, craftsmen, educators, innovators, and entrepreneurs. What all of these diverse and unique minds have in common is a passion for making beautiful and useful things in the company of other creative people. We share our knowledge, experience, abilities, talents, and tools.
When our founders came together in 2012 to create the Central Valley's first Makerspace, they established the primary tenet, which has never wavered since: if someone can help another member learn or grow, that’s job one. This collaborative ethos is at the heart of everything we do because together we’re smarter than any lone individual. What began as a few maker enthusiasts hoping to share resources has become an engine of change in downtown Fresno and beyond.
A 501c(3) non-profit organization, all funds received from store purchases go directly back into workshop improvements!
